Yeah it had a fucking awesome soundtrack, one of the few games for me personally that really showcases the SNES soundchip. I mean it came out in 1996, when the PSOne was already around, so late lifecycle game shows what can be made most of.

The fighting engine was used previously for a Power Rangers fighter too.

I finally finished watching the entire thing (Tosho Daimos) thanks to Youtube and le Internet! I actually grew up watching this "anime" as a kid (it is as old as I am ) though I skipped a few episodes and did not end up finishing it due to school and all kinds of crap... Now the ending credits music entitled Erika No Barado (Erika's Ballad) is stuck in my head.
