Yeah, I sold my kidney to get Vocaloid.
It wasn't that bad of a operation, and my kidneys were actually in good condition.
I yarr'd it, you doofus

Re: General Vocaloid Thread
How are the phonemes set up? Are they like "e / v @r / - / - / i: / dh eI"? If they are, the problem is in the transition between "@r" and "i:", which is not supported by Gumi English :/ You can try making it like "e / v @r / - / - r / i: / dh eI" or "e / v @r / - / - / r i: / dh eI" (you can manually change phonemes by double clicking a note and pressing alt+down )
As for the second question, do you want her to say something like "hoooo-oooome" or "hooo-me"? (as in, do you want the whole "ome" sound on the second note or just the "m" sound?)
If it is the latter, just write home in the first note and "-" in the second, but if you want to completely split the word you have to manually edit the phonemes, change the first note to "h @U" and the second one to "- m"

Re: General Vocaloid Thread
1st problem I solved by adding an r to the "i:" part.
And 2nd one by the manual split.

Wow, 2004 huh? Well yeah, they're a lot more realistic now, but I wouldn't say they're that used to make professional original music. You can find quite a lot of original songs, but mostly done by the fans. This is an example, which features both Avanna (one of the latest Vocaloid 3 voices) and Leon (the first Vocaloid 1 voice )semory wrote:i remember i yarred leon when it first came out. havent touched it since. is it actually useful in making original music now?

Re: General Vocaloid Thread
So yeah, I have a 26GB folder of unfinished Vocaloid projects
Still, all my WIPs (and some complete stuff) are over here (including my crappy UTAU... please avoid listening to that )

Re: General Vocaloid Thread
Hey Gale, how can I make the Vocaloid raise it's voice on some parts?
Not like screaming, but just a little bit raised voice.

You can use the "DYN" tab (Dynamics) to increase the volume in a certain part... the parameters are your friends
You can also change the BRI and CLE parameters a bit for that part, they change how strong and sharp a voice is
