Pivot angle

Post by 06pori »

XNALara/XPS does not support Pivot directions?
when I convert the model to .mesh.ascii, all directions become right-angled.

Should I rebuild the bone...? ;(

I'm not sure, but I think it's because the way you pose models in XNALara is really 'rigid'. It only allows to select a certain joint, then rotate (or move) along the 3 axes (X/Y/Z) that are pre-defined, it does not depend on how you want those axes to be for each bone. This makes it very tedious to pose any model that doesn't have a T-pose as default. I don't think you can do anything about this, rebuilding the bone will not work, but maybe I'm wrong.

You're welcome. :XD:

Yes, that's something you can do (T-posing the model, I mean) to make posing easier.

Yep, XNALara/XPS works on a global axis, not local. Though XNAaraL said awhile back that he's planning to implement local axis posing into XPS, dunno how that's going. If he succeeds then we hopefully will see a huge reduction in bad poses on dA. XD Hopefully though it's an option since I'm so used to the global axis now. :?

Yeah, that's what I meant, haha. Global vs local. :derp:

It would be awesome if XNAaraL could get that to work. :D

Hahaha I see you noticed too! XD Probably wouldn't matter because people are too lazy to use control bones. :?

True, but at least it will be a lot easier to pose those damn elbows.
