I already have the script to attach it, if that's what you mean :>
Now I got it to work with bones back to Blender with head and all that, but the textures are not applied though they are in Max. Any ideas if there's an easy way to fix it or do I have to apply them by myself..?

I think you are going have to apply them in Blender yourself, since I don't know any method of getting the models with textures applied.
It shouldn't be that hard to do, tho.

Re: Tera Online Model Importing
Lemme get this straight. You got all these meshes imported to Max via Gildor's ActorX importer but the heads and hair are separated right? The link I gave is a tutorial (not a script) on how to combine TERA models in Max. Export them with mariokart's script after combining them and you should get a combined model.

Re: Tera Online Model Importing
There is a script though that does the combining of the head and hair to the rest of the body.
The problem that I have is that I can either export the whole model as .smd and it ends up as one mesh in Blender without textures, or if I export the meshes individually I get single meshes without any bones even though every mesh has the basic bones coming with them in Max.
Suppose I'll study the script from mariokart a little more and then see if it works the way you said it.

Dunno how you go about with TERA to xnalara conversions but I would basicallySheepster wrote:There is a script though that does the combining of the head and hair to the rest of the body.

1) Import the psks with ActorX in Max then
2) Do the steps on the tutorial link to combine the heads and hair
3) Export to mesh.ascii with mariokart's xnalara from max script then
4) Import the mesh.ascii file to blender 2.49b
5) Manually apply the textures and set the xnalara rendergroups
6) Finalize with lightmap baking and renaming bones.

Re: Tera Online Model Importing
You mean the Import/Export script that is also found on trf, right?
Cause if I export the model all I get is a .ascii file and no mesh.
So, is there another exporter or am I doing something wrong?
