Green to Purple Normals?
Ok I think I saw a tutorial on TRF somewhere but I can't find it at the moment. IIRC you just have to swap the RGB channels, right? Or can I just use Nvidia's normal map filter for that? What channels need to be inverted again on TK models? Red and green? TIA!

For Tekken models, only invert the green channel, Marv.

Re: Green to Purple Normals?
Thanks you two! I know how to invert normals, just needed to know which channels.
Oh btw do I just use the Nvidia normal map filter to convert green normals to purple ones?

Purple? Why the heck would you want purple?
This is a Barney thing isn't it?
Red and blue should have something. Paintbucket black to green voila Barney.

Re: Green to Purple Normals?
I think they are 'officially' called purple... but it's just blue to me too.
Anyway, I forgot to say, they are green because the red channel is in the alpha channel or something like that. So just copy that alpha, paste it in the red channel, then invert the green one only and finally delete the alpha channel (or paint it white).

Re: Green to Purple Normals?
So, what are these textures that are mostly red? Are they supposed to be in-game spec maps? Do you guys use these in your ports or do you create your own?
