How much did your XNALara skills improve?

Getting the right lighting is the thing that changed the most from me when I started posing and I am still practicing, especially since we now have XPS and the Bloom feature.

Going from my first ever piece, seriously WTF was I thinking? Did I play too much Mass Effect and was too fond of the sleezy bar at the Citadel or something?

Complicated skirts and a couple of twist bones are my pet peeves still, but the more I use and practice, the more I get used to them. I could be spending hours on just a little thing like a shoulder bone or something.

^Nice! It's like comparing ingame graphics to a render. Every time I try something new with lighting I end up hating it.

EDIT: OK, I don't always hate it. I liked how these turned out.

I don't have my very first picture any more lol I've deleted so many, but I remember it lol Chris and Claire, the posing was okay. not stiff or anything but well could do better. I've kinda gone through a stage, I was rubbish, then I got good and uploaded stuff all the time...and now I suck again and hardly upload anything. I have put alot of thought into my new renders now. I want them to be special and I won't upload any crap from now on.

Its OK but the combat is a bit of a bore for me, its sort of like a gimped version of Ninja Gaiden.

improved a little but not much, and it has more to do with Xnalara's improvement than my skill.
