Removing dark seams from light maps

Ok, thanks to Dazzy's tip I was able to make Nina look better in the light maps department, but she still retains some dark seams. Is there a methodical way of removing them instead of clone stamping/color picking->painting/"name any tedious way of removing them here"?

Only way, afaik, is painting OR!!!!!!!!!! removing every piece of black there is (I do this in GIMP by using colour to alpha) and changing the background to grey xD

Thanks Dazzy, I'll give those a try tonight. I also thought that maybe you can do an outer glow (sort of) on the edges so remove the dark areas. She's almost ready, just need to clean up the light maps on her palms and feet a bit and she's ready to go. I'm still undecided though as to whether I'll share her on dA or not, too many bondage freaks there lately, lol!

^ thePWA, thanks for letting me know about this, looking at the date it looks like it was prior to me signing up (but lurking) at TRF, lol.

I actually do the same thing but with different settings from xXImNotOkayXx's (is that the right dA ID?) light map baking tutorial. I use Approximate instead of Raytrace with the Use Falloff button checked. I'd rather deal with darker maps than dark seams any day. That's what the dodge tool in PS is for. ;)

I'll play around with this and see if it gets rid of the dark seams. Thanks again.

EDIT: HAHAHA, Gaussian Blur is the culprit. I took it out of the steps and she looks juuussttt fine! She will be out here soon, on dA, don't know.
