How to extract and convert the "The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt" characters ?
- Download and install the "Witcher_3-Modkit" http://www.nexusmods.com/witcher3/news/12550/?
- Read the "ModKit-QuickGuide.pdf" and
- Unpack the TW3 Content with: wcc_lite uncook -indir="C:\The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt\content" -outdir=C:\Uncooked\ -uncookext=w2mesh,xbm,w2mesh.1.buffer -imgfmt=tga
- Convert the model (for example) with wcc_lite Export -Depot=C:\Uncooked\ -file=items\cutscenes\triss_necklace\necklace_01_wa__triss_cs.w2mesh -out=C:\Uncooked\items\cutscenes\triss_necklace\necklace_01_wa__triss_cs.fbx
- Download and unpack Noesis 2.12 or higher http://richwhitehouse.com/index.php?con ... sv4157.zip
- Put the "fmt_TW3_to_XPS.py" script (form this post) into the Noesis plugin folder Noesis\plugins\python
- Start Noesis
- "File-->Open file" C:\Uncooked\items\cutscenes\triss_necklace\necklace_01_wa__triss_cs.fbx
- "File-->Export"
- "Main Output type" = ".mesh.ascii - TW3_to_XPS v 1.2"
- "Rotate 90"
- "No Textures" to use the (wcc_lite) converted .tga texture images ... or "Flip UV's" .
- Press "Export"
- Start XPS 11.1 http://xnalara.home-forum.com/t303-xna- ... elease-178
- Move the file C:\Uncooked\items\cutscenes\triss_necklace\necklace_01_wa__triss_cs.w2meshout.mesh.ascii over the "XPS Render main window"
- Use the XPS "Control Window" and rotate the Z-Axis -180┬░
- Invoke Modify-->Save GenericItem ..."
- Use this Settings
- Have fun ... and use it for non commercial use only

Hint:
Save the Body parts as Character.mesh and the other parts (head, hair, items ...) as Outfit.mesh ... to use the XPS "Wardrobe Feature" (Example model http://sta.sh/01mr75e9qwc9 ... use the Download button an the right/top side)
