Yep, it goes by time of day and location. There's usual a unique one per time of day for each. So Pool/Niki & Tranquil Beaches all have their own animations for each time block.

Usually morning, in the case of Helena, Momiji, Nyotengu. But I rarely 'Relax' Best guess though, I haven't seen if all characters have one.

Von, do you tinker with the camera settings? I tend to leave them default, but since H mentioned it yours do have a difference in lighting, and I see rounded corner edges too.

Yes, Hotmi does tend to have some derpy faces rather frequently
