Lol. Did you want him to get stripped of the title before leaving in Brett Hart fashion??
Owens is awesome. So unpredictable in the ring. Sheamus on the other hand is strong but boring as turd in the ring and on the mic. So your money is on Owens to win the Rumble? Biggest betting odds are on Lesnar just so Roman can beat him at Mania this year and look like a tough guy.

So now they're trying to not only steal Bryan's underdog story to get Roman over, now they're stealing Austin's? Just like how he stole the Shield's theme song and catchphrase for himself and is the only WWE superstar allowed to wear body armor to stop him getting injured. F you WWE. I'm cancelling my WWE network subscription and so are my buddies after Mania this year.

I only ever tried their free month stuff ages back, whilst every now and then, I'll just catch up on some of their content on Dailymotion or livestreams.
And Fantastica Mania 2016 (NJPW and CMLL co-production) has been happening this week and there have been some funny highlights.
Still holding onto that title.

AJ Styles is here! At No.3 !
AJ vs Kevin Owens feud incoming (Hopefully) and it could be awesome!
And Triple H. People have been calling that for ages and yet, for storyline purposes and all, it kind of works and is okay? At least he is technically fills the transitional champion until whoever (Not Reigns please!) can step up and take it off him.
Either way, The House totally screwed over and won this one.
Here's the official statement released after Styles' debut.
Here is a crowd recorded version that showcases his massive pop much better, considering the camera guy/producer on TV was a fucking moron that didn't put the Titantron video up and was only focused on Reign's stupid face.

The countdown clock hit zero and a mysterious theme hit the loudspeakers. The Royal Rumble Match stopped for seemingly an eternity as Roman Reigns waited for No. 3 to step onto the entrance ramp. It was fitting, because for fans of AJ Styles, the man charging to the ring, his journey to WWE felt like an eternity, too.
StylesÔÇÖ arrival on Sunday night was the culmination of nearly a decade and a half spent becoming the most praised performer who wasnÔÇÖt on the WWE roster. He has held the top title in countless promotions, beaten everyone from Kurt Angle to Hiroshi Tanahashi, and is one of only three non-WWE competitors to be named the top wrestler in the world by Pro Wrestling Illustrated. Simply put, if there was a scouting report for potential WWE Superstars, Styles would have been No. 1 on everybodyÔÇÖs list.
What makes the Georgia native so special? From an in-ring standpoint, he should weigh heavily in any conversation about being the best in the world. HeÔÇÖll catch your eye with his devastating Styles Clash, which has felled opponents from Tampa to Tokyo, and blow your mind with his dizzying Spiral Tap ÔÇö a corkscrew senton bomb from the top rope. And, like Daniel Bryan and Jeff Hardy before him, his charisma and ring presence make it impossible to turn away. If you take your eyes off him, even for a second, youÔÇÖre sure to miss something special.
StylesÔÇÖ first national exposure came in WCW during the companyÔÇÖs waning final weeks, where he chased the WCW Cruiserweight Tag Team Championship as one half of a duo called Air Raid. He competed in tryout and dark matches for WWE in 2002, but was never signed by the company. Undeterred, he made a name for himself in every single promotion that wasnÔÇÖt owned by Mr. McMahon with countless blow-away matches. He battled Sting and Samoa Joe in Florida, challenged CM Punk and Daniel Bryan in Chicago, and fought Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn in California.
Then in April 2014, Styles took his first step toward international acclaim when he debuted in New Japan Pro Wrestling, immediately aligning with Bullet Club. Styles twice captured New Japan Pro WrestlingÔÇÖs IWGP Heavyweight Championship ÔÇö a title also held by Brock Lesnar, Vader and WWE Hall of Famer Tatsumi Fujinami ÔÇö while asserting himself as one of the best American wrestlers in the companyÔÇÖs history.
And then the rumors started. In January 2016, a report broke that he and three other New Japan Pro Wrestling competitors were supposedly heading to WWE. Finn B├ílor, Bullet ClubÔÇÖs leader before Styles, fanned the flames on his social media accounts. Even John Cena got in on the fun, posting a picture of StylesÔÇÖ face on his Instagram account, which Styles responded to with an old photo of CenaÔÇÖs mug.
After weeks of speculation and cryptic tweets, though, Styles finally stepped into a WWE ring, showing Orlando, Fla.ÔÇÖs Amway Center and viewers worldwide that he isnÔÇÖt just hype. HeÔÇÖs a game changer.
Styles arrives to WWE as a highly skilled veteran with the same agility and desire as that novice grappler who once stared down The Hurricane on WWE Metal. After conquering the independent circuit and Japan, AJ Styles wants to show WWE why heÔÇÖs so phenomenal. Hold on tight.
Here is a crowd recorded version that showcases his massive pop much better, considering the camera guy/producer on TV was a fucking moron that didn't put the Titantron video up and was only focused on Reign's stupid face.

Re: General Wrasslin' / Puroresu thread!
Did you hear how much Roman got booed for the entire Rumble? Then he got stretchered out the back for half the match due to being injured early on/was allowed to go sit down out the back and have a rest for half the match because god forbid he have to wrestle as long as anyone else in the company. I would have loved for AJ or Sami or Wyatt or Ambrose to win but I'll take HHH over Roman any day of the week. I bet HHH never expected to be cheered

Re: General Wrasslin' / Puroresu thread!
What was incredibly dumb with stretching Roman out for half of it angle was that it made him look even more weak! Course, only smarks can see that, all the little children and dumbass WWE creative logic won't.
The fact that Kevin Owens, a "fat slob" like him was "limping" towards the rumble and can still carry on, especially after such an awesome match earlier! In reality, Owens actually does have much more stamina than Roman any day (And we know he is miles leagues better a wrestler). But, because he's the heel, "WWE logic" can't see that!
Really was just a terrible booking decision.
Glad HHH won even if it does look like it will inflate his ego more, but in this case, I accept it!
I mean, if other old veterans/bosses can "win" their own heavyweight championships in their own promotions, I don't really see the problem. (E.g. Vince, Inoki, Jeff Jarret, Keiji Mutoh, etc)
They really are bringing back the whole Austin vs McMahon angle, the difference is, Roman just isn't good enough, yet HHH at least does a decent job.
But yeah, Kevin Owens was definitely the MVP of this PPV. "I HATE YOU!" "WELCOME TO THE WWE!" .... just too funny and awesome.
Also, NJPW just recently officially declared Nakamura has left the company, so it will be really interesting now.
Still can't get over how they fucked up Styles debut though. I mean, it's practically this ...
Edit -
Even WWE had to resort to using live arena footage to make it better.

Hilariously ironic that Styles first match on RAW is against Y2J himself.

Nakamura vs Sami Zayn, confirmed for NXT Takeover Dallas!
That's two days before Wrestlemania!
That's two days before Wrestlemania!
Yes, the rumors are true. Shinsuke Nakamura is coming to WWE NXT.
At Wednesday nightÔÇÖs NXT taping at Full Sail University in Orlando, Fla., a video announcing the impending arrival of the Japanese standout played for the live crowd, sending shockwaves through the arena and, moments later, the social media world.
Nakamura, a 14-year veteran of the squared circle, has been a leading star in the New Japan promotion since 2002. Renowned for his striking and submission ability, as well as his unorthodox charisma, NakamuraÔÇÖs devastating Bomaye knee strike has felled many opponents and his smash mouth style has earned him the nickname The King of Strong Style. A three-time IWGP Champion ÔÇö the same once title held by the likes of Vader, The Great Muta and AJ Styles ÔÇö Nakamura is the youngest competitor to win that championship, capturing it for the first time at 23. He has taken on a whoÔÇÖs who of the best grapplers in the world in his career, facing the likes of Finn B├ílor, Kevin Owens, Hideo Itami, WWE Performance Center Head Coach Matt Bloom and The Beast Incarnate himself, Brock Lesnar.
Rumors of Nakamura coming to WWE first started in early January, along with gossip about AJ Styles and Bullet Club members Karl Anderson and Doc Gallows returning to America. Reports about Styles became truth during the 2016 Royal Rumble Match when The Phenomenal One entered at No. 3. Now, The King of Strong Style has decreed that he will be stepping between the yellow ropes in the not-so-distant future.
What does Shinsuke Nakamura have planned for NXT and The Superstars of Tomorrow? Find out by tuning into NXT, every Wednesday at 8/7 C, only on WWE Network!
