doesn't it mean that the ps4 version models have the same resolution? otherwise ps3 users can't play online games supported by ps4 user

Nah, model resolution has nothing to do with cross play, they just share the same servers
DOA5 is crossplay with DOA5+ but I can assure that DOA5+'s models are a lot lower poly than the PS3 ones

Having said that, I doubt much will change between the models judging by their previous cross-gen releases, maybe higher res textures, more enemies on screen and extra bloom

Yep it's already done between PS3 and Vita. Graphics quality won't have any effect so as long as netcoding and player sync is fine. By that logic, alot of PC games wouldn't work too then.

The only thing I can see the PS4 will have to limit itself on if playing with PS3 and Vita players is the enemy count.

I just can't wait for their next gen only warriors game. Not counting hyrule warriors lol.
