I am a noob at XNAlara and 3D modelling in general.

to 3ds max 2019, with the XNAlara Importer, but the result ends up like this: https://imgur.com/a/DlraNHO
What am I doing wrong?
I am going to rig the model and try to put it in a game called Jump Force.

What exactly is the problem, the black mesh? AFAIK these use external mesh for cell shading effect, maybe you just need to peek inside it?
BTW the model is rigged already, unless you need to add specific skeleton for JF, then nevermind.

Yeah, those should be fully black meshes for the cel shading effect. The actual meshes should be behind them

There is another problem now I need to add another skeleton from Jump Force. So if i want to rig the mesh to a different skeleton I need to delete the current skeleton correct?
Well when I have tried to delete the skeleton before; the mesh got deleted with it.
So what I need to do is de-rig the skeleton from the mesh and then delete the skeleton, but how do I de-rig? Does anyone here know how? It's not a CAT rig.
