How to use umodel to extract the character (or scene)

Post by blueberry »

Sorry, my English is very bad.

I am a beginner in XNALara model making and I am learning now.
I would like to ask, if I want to use umodel to extract the character (or scene).
But my game is PS4 version, is it possible for me to use umodel to extract the character (or scene)?
Or do I need to buy a PC version of the game to extract the model?

And where do I need to get the umodel?

If anyone is willing to answer me, I would really appreciate it. <3

Sorry, my English is also very bad.
I am a expert in XNALara model making and the XPS author and I'm still learning new things these days.

UE Viewer is a viewer for visual resources of games made with Unreal engine. Currently all engine versions (from 1 to 4) are supported.

The project was originally named the "Unreal model viewer", however the name was changed in 2011 to meet the request from Epic Games. Please note that "official" project's name is "UE Viewer", and a short unofficial name of the project is "umodel" (it was left from the older name "Unreal MODEL viewer").

There's a place where you may discuss the source code: gildor.org forums.

System Requirements (to use umodel / UE Viewer)

Windows OS or Linux
CPU with SSE2 support
SDL 2.0 (included into package for Windows)
OpenGL 1.1 videocard (OpenGL 2.0 is recommended)
