Looking for a start

So I've had a bit of practice ripping models, using programs and such. No expert but whatever.
I'm trying to open or at least convert these .hnk models from a game on Steam into something I can open in 3DStudio.
I've been looking everywhere, downloaded every damn model viewer I can find, any rippers etc. But nothing.
I don't need these models rigged or anything, I can do all that myself. I just need them turned into .obj or something.

I'm not requesting someone do the work for me, i'm just hoping someone could point me in the right direction or what I could do to open these things.

Well first of all, it would probably be easier for us to help if we knew what was the name of the game

Barbie DreamHouse Party uses HNK files... I remember some other games as well but it's been so long lol.

Oh, I remember NinjaRipper working with that Barbie game pretty well.

The game is actually Monster high: New Ghoul in School
I tried Ninjaripper, but nothing would rip when I'd load up the game.
Can ninjaripper rip from the models directly somehow?

Ninja Ripper works in a way that it is "injected" into a game so once you are in the game you would have to press the button you assigned for model ripping (I think its F9).
Idek if this was what you attempted, but if it was then nevermind

Yup.
Ran ninjaripper, loaded the game, tried hitting rip at random points in the game with different characters.
No slowdown or anything indicating it's ripping. Nothing.

Any ideas anyone else? ^^;;
I'm still trying, but nothings working.
