Daytona USA series
The fact that the PS3/X360 version of the original game is still available (More people need to buy it so we can butt lace!) and that they are making this 3rd game goes to show they still have the licensing rights....-ish to the Daytona brand.
So Sega .... when the hell is Daytona 2 ever going to get a home port release?
They finally did the original game justice with the PS3/X360 port plus online multiplayer! All past versions before on the Saturn and PC (Original and Championship Circuit Edition) and Dreamcast (Daytona USA 2001) were mixed at best and always had their own issues.
Surely they should've given the 2nd game the same treatment as well since it's a very underrated sequel and it's Sega Model 3 artstyle and graphics still holds up well.
I want to be able to conquer the Expert course freely.

I'm still waiting on a discount on the PS3 port since I don't feel like spending 8Ôé¼ as of now Since they're making a new one I guess there's no risk of the game getting delisted

Re: Daytona USA series
I'm actually very underwhelmed by the graphics and artstyle since it has that typical modern day darks and gritty look.
But since that is only just the classic Beginner stage being redone, if the Advanced and Expert courses have great track design then I could just overlook it.
For me, the Model 3 era of Daytona 2 and Scud Race is still my preferred visual style.
I also wonder if this is running on the Sega Nu board or something new.

Re: Daytona USA series
Bit hard to hear, but from what I can tell, it uses some of the same music/remixes from Championship Circuit Edition and 2001.
Resbo Sky!
I also hope that at least one or few stages are more fantastical in it's design like from CCE/2001 home ports and Daytona 2 because it does look pretty bland otherwise.
They look more like Sega Rally tracks.
My hype is really starting to fade away.
Where's the good old classic authentic ARCADE designs instead of this modern day safe BS!
