DOA5 is crossplay with DOA5+ but I can assure that DOA5+'s models are a lot lower poly than the PS3 ones
Having said that, I doubt much will change between the models judging by their previous cross-gen releases, maybe higher res textures, more enemies on screen and extra bloom

Mainly expansions for different modes or extras.
Xtreme Legends are generally expansions that require the original base game.
Empires are more tactical and strategy and thus are their own separate games.
