Re: Vonman's Renders W.I.P
Looks good so far, Von.
Is that all Blender / Cycles still?

Nice work Von !
Von I recommend you to use a posed generic_item instead of .obj for rendering, it's the way I render sometimes on 3ds if the model's hair has doubles automatically textured which makes it faster and better ^^ ( I guess Cycles would have the same texturing method like the normal renderer ? )

Hot stuff!
I named all the duplicate hair meshes 'b', so you know which ones to delete. XD
Cycles doesn't support backface culling, does it?

@Sandy
Thanks!
they can be deleted?? o_O all this time i just use "remove doubles". does that remove the duplicate mesh?
yeah it doesnt seem to support it. everytime i render models with backfaceculling i might run into some problems

Re: Vonman's Renders W.I.P
Yeah, I kept them separate on purpose, for people who render in Blender.
Just select the ones called hair2b, hair3b etc and move them to another layer, then check the result. XD

When I get some motivation again, I need to tackle that stuff and figure out how to get stuff showing up properly for rendering.
