I guess the tentacles were handled in the same way they handle hair and flappy cloth . Also, tentacles should only be in a few areas within the game and even then only during specific scenes or areas (won't spoil in case folks don't know). Thank you. I let the extraction process run overnight and awoke to a standard program stopped responding error. But it seems the archives extracted correctly so idk what that was about. For anyone looking for characters models they seem to be in archive d although the textures are stored separately ...
