Re: 3dsmax General Questions / Info
Thanks for the fast reply The 2-side trick works... But what exactly does that do to the object? It gives it weird lighting properties and I have to set up a few global lights to make it look right.

Re: 3dsmax General Questions / Info
Does anyone know why this might be happening (3DMax 2013)? I'm applying an Omni Light to my model, and it works in the viewer, but when I do a quick render, it doesn't show: http://i.imgur.com/7Kn8UwQ.jpg (On the left is the regular viewer with the omni light working, but on the render (right), the ...

Re: First render
Haha you guys are too kind :) Yes, it's my first render... I've worked in Photoshop previously but this is the first time with 3D. Most people around here I think stick to rendering in Blender or 3dsmax, but there may be tutorials around for Maya on TRF... sorry I'm not much help on those two. I hav...

Resizing models?
Hey guys-
Maybe this was stated somewhere and I'm missing it, but is it possible to resize models in XNAL? For example, I'm working on a pose between two different models, but one is on a larger scale and they don't quite match each other's sizes.

First render
Here's my very first render! Criticisms welcome :) http://i4.minus.com/iEFxx3EkJMHbz.png http://i4.minus.com/iEFxx3EkJMHbz.png I think I'm going to redo the whole thing much larger and correct some of the hand and facial expressions. Is it possible to add more bones to models? Also, what is the best...

Adjusting clothes
Hello! I'm brand new to XNALara and 3d modelling, so you'll have to excuse me if this is a dumb question-- Is it possible to adjust the clothes on your model, or are they usually part of the model itself? For example, I'm currently playing around with this Borderlands 2 model ( http://o0crofty0o.tum...
